The Hi-Flame Alpha is a 5kW multi-fuel Ecodesign stove built on the same 905-series combustion platform shared across the Hi-Flame range. Where the Precision takes a contemporary approach, the Alpha has a more traditional style, with a curved cast iron door that gives it a distinctly classical look. The internals are identical — same performance, same combustion system, same build quality.

Like all 905-series stoves, the Alpha uses pre-heated tertiary air jets in the cast iron rear back-plate to keep the fire chamber consistently hot and the glass clear throughout the burn. The airwash runs across the full width of the glass.

Air management is simple. A single slider below the door controls the entire air supply, primary boost, secondary airwash, and tertiary combustion air, all from one lever. There is nothing complicated about running this stove, and that is the point.

The Alpha has a solid cast iron lid, the same material as the door and rear back-plate. It adds thermal mass and durability, and it is the kind of detail you notice after ten years of use rather than ten minutes.

Direct external air supply is built in as standard, no external airbox required. That means the Alpha can go into post-2008 homes and new builds without a separate room vent, and qualifies for installation on a 12mm non-combustible hearth subject to Building Regulations.
